Monex has integrated its proprietary services with major artificial intelligence platforms, including ChatGPT and Claude, in a move aimed at bringing AI-driven financial services closer to customers’ everyday interactions.
Through the integration, customers who consent to AI platforms accessing their account information will be able to request relevant information and analysis based on their own financial data directly through supported AI platforms. The initiative is here to simplify access to account-related insights and reduce the need to navigate conventional securities service interfaces.
Monex Group said it views artificial intelligence as more than a tool for improving operational efficiency. The company sees AI as a new interface connecting customers with financial services and is working to incorporate the technology across its businesses.
The development follows an earlier AI initiative by TradeStation Securities, Monex Group’s U.S. subsidiary. In January 2026, TradeStation Securities introduced connectivity between AI platforms and securities accounts through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling customers to interact with financial services in a more conversational and intuitive way.
According to Monex Group, activities that previously required customers to move through multiple screens and complete several steps are increasingly becoming part of natural conversations with AI systems. This could reshape how investors access account information, analyze positions, and interact with brokerage services.
The Group has identified technology-driven, next-generation financial experiences as a core element of its growth strategy. Following TradeStation Securities’ U.S. initiative, Monex Securities’ integration with major AI platforms represents another step toward incorporating emerging technologies into traditional securities services.
For customers, the development points toward a financial experience where account information and analysis can be accessed through familiar AI interfaces rather than solely through conventional brokerage platforms. However, access to personal account information remains subject to customer consent, making authorization and data access important considerations.
Monex’s move underscores the broader evolution of financial services as brokerages increasingly explore AI as a customer-facing interface rather than simply an internal productivity tool.
