LMAX Group has announced an integration with Deltix, part of EPAM Systems, aimed at expanding institutional access to its perpetual futures offering.
The integration connects LMAX’s perpetual futures venue with Deltix’s MarketMaker and CryptoCortex platforms, extending an existing technology relationship that has supported connectivity to LMAX’s FX and spot crypto venues for more than six years.
For institutional trading firms, the development addresses a key infrastructure requirement in the digital asset derivatives market: reliable connectivity to venues offering perpetual contracts. LMAX said the integration is around scalable, high-performance infrastructure intended to support sophisticated participants requiring low-latency execution and robust trading capabilities.
Perpetual futures have become an increasingly important segment of digital asset derivatives, but institutional adoption depends not only on available liquidity but also on the quality of execution and connectivity surrounding the venue. By integrating LMAX’s perpetual futures offering into established institutional trading technology, the firms are seeking to reduce infrastructure barriers for clients that already use Deltix’s platforms.
The integration was developed in collaboration with EPAM and its Deltix technology team, while Geneva Trading has onboarded and validated the connectivity. That validation provides an early indication that the integration can operate within a professional trading environment rather than remaining solely a technology-level connection.
Jenna Wright, Managing Director of Digital Assets at LMAX Group, said the partnership strengthens institutional access to the company’s growing product suite while supporting execution efficiency, connectivity and performance standards.
Deltix Account Manager Brandon McCoy said adding LMAX perpetual futures to MarketMaker and CryptoCortex builds on the companies’ established connectivity and gives institutional clients access to liquidity alongside low-latency execution and risk-management capabilities.
The move comes as trading infrastructure providers increasingly connect traditional institutional workflows with digital asset derivatives venues. For trading firms, the practical significance will ultimately depend on execution quality, available liquidity, latency and risk controls in live markets. However, the integration gives institutions already operating through Deltix’s ecosystem a more direct route into LMAX’s perpetual futures market without requiring an entirely separate connectivity framework.
