ATFX strategically pinpoints Latin America and eagerly welcomes its new Growth Manager to propel regional expansion. Following the recent appointment of a new director for Latin America (LATAM), ATFX has now announced the recruitment of Gary Fragoso as a Growth Manager in the region. Also, Fragoso, a newcomer to the FX/CFD industry, brings several years of experience in diverse sales and business development roles.

ATFX pinpoints Focus on Latin America, Strengthens Team

ATFX LATAM revealed the addition of Gary Fragoso to its team. Situated in Mexico City, Fragoso brings a background from esteemed companies including AT&T, GSK, Tata Consultancy Services, and Sutherland. Despite his limited direct exposure in the FX/CFD industry, ATFX sees Fragoso as possessing a fervent commitment to fostering innovation and advancement.

LinkedIn post of ATFX LATM states: “Gary is ready to lead our growth initiatives and expand our presence in Latin America,”. “We are confident that his expertise and strategic approach will be instrumental in reaching new milestones and strengthening our community.”

This represents another calculated step by ATFX in the LATAM market, subsequent to the recent announcement that Ergin Erdemir, who spent nearly six years in the London office, has been designated as the Head of LATAM. Erdemir will supervise the regional broker’s development endeavors.

“I want to express my gratitude to the ATFX team and especially to Wei Zhang for his support and guidance along the way. Their encouragement has been invaluable to me,” said Erdermir.

ATFX Strengthens Team

ATFX’s activities in Latin America are not the sole personnel adjustments of late. In late March, the firm revealed the appointment of Graham Morris as Head of Compliance for Australia. Additionally, in late February, industry luminary Drew Niv assumed the role of Chief Strategy Officer, recognized for co-founding FXCM in 1999.

“Drew’s expertise will be instrumental in forming strategic partnerships that will drive our commitment to delivering unparalleled services that cater to the dynamic requirements of individual and institutional customers globally,” Joe Li, the Chairman of ATFX, mentioned.
Furthermore, ATFX augmented its workforce in February by appointing Aditya Singh as the new Business Development Director for the Institutional segment in the MENA region. Singh brings a wealth of experience from the financial industry to the team.
