Blueberry Markets‘ new launch shifts its role from a broker to a competitor in prop trading, introducing Blueberry Funded services. Blueberry Markets, a forex and CFDs broker that once served numerous prop trading firms, is now introducing its own prop trading services under the brand Blueberry Funded.

While the website for Blueberry Funded is currently active, it lacks specifics about the services it will provide. Instead, it features a countdown clock of over 12 days, possibly indicating the launch date for the new platform.

Blueberry Markets’ new launch Expands Offerings with Prop Trading

Headquartered in Australia, Blueberry Markets is regulated by ASIC and holds additional licenses in Vanuatu and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The broker’s services encompass margin forex trading and CFDs on a range of assets, including indices, shares, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.

Previously, Blueberry Markets offered technological services, including grey labelling of MetaTrader licenses, to various prop trading firms. However, disruptions arose when MetaQuotes, the developer of MetaTrader, began enforcing stricter regulations on its platform’s use by prop trading firms in the United States. This led to an immediate suspension of Blueberry Markets’ services for these firms, causing many prop trading platforms to halt operations until they could find and implement alternative trading solutions.

Rising Prop Demand

At the same time, Blueberry Markets joins a growing number of brokerages launching prop trading services.

In addition to these brokers, numerous smaller prop trading brands are currently in operation. However, it is noteworthy that many of these brands have recently closed down, citing various reasons for their shutdowns. As Blueberry Markets ventures into prop trading with its new Blueberry Funded platform, it reflects the growing trend among brokerages to expand into this sector. The evolving landscape of prop trading, marked by both new entrants and recent closures, highlights the dynamic nature of the retail trading market.
