Bushel and StoneX Group Inc have announced a partnership aimed at linking farmer-facing tools with hedge workflow and back-office systems. The collaboration integrates Bushel’s digital platform with StoneX Hedge, a merchandising solution developed by StoneX, to create a more connected process from offer through settlement.

The combined solution is here to support grain merchandisers by increasing digital offer activity, improving hedge accuracy, and reducing the need for duplicate data entry. It also enables real-time data sharing across systems, helping businesses maintain consistency throughout the merchandising lifecycle.

StoneX Hedge plays a role in hedge execution, linking offers to hedges and supporting contract creation backed by ERP systems. On the other side, Bushel provides farmers with mobile and web access to bids, digital offers, contracts, electronic signatures, tickets, settlements, and notifications. The integration allows both operational and customer-facing processes to function in a single connected environment.

Benny Andres, Vice President of Product at Bushel, said grain companies require technology that works across operations and customer interaction. He added that the partnership strengthens workflow support for merchandisers while allowing farmers to access their tools and records in one place.

David Smoldt, President of the Commodities division at StoneX, said StoneX Hedge focuses on managing hedging and back-office execution with speed and accuracy. He noted that combining this with Bushel’s farmer interface creates a more complete merchandising workflow. He also shared that StoneX Hedge users have hedged more than one billion bushels within the first six months of the company’s fiscal year.

The partnership is positioned for mid- to large-sized elevators, commercial grain companies, and cooperatives seeking improved digital origination and streamlined hedge processes. It also supports maintaining ERP systems as the central data source while improving data flow across contracts, hedges, and farmer records.

Bushel currently serves more than 3,500 grain and ag retail facilities, covering over half of grain origination in the United States and Canada.
