Exness Africa Expansion strengthens the broker’s regional presence with a new Cape Town hub serving Sub-Saharan markets. The firm has expanded its footprint in South Africa by inaugurating a new office in Cape Town, which will function as the contracts for difference (CFD) broker’s regional hub for Africa.

Exness Africa Expansion Strengthens Broker’s Position in Sub-Saharan Region

The company stated that the new Cape Town office will serve as the operational centre for its activities across South Africa and the wider Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region. Exness currently holds local regulatory licences in both South Africa and Kenya.

“We see immense potential in SSA, and our investment here reflects our confidence in the region’s growth and in the incredible talent driving it,” said Petr Valov, Exness’ co-founder and CEO.

The new hub will employ specialists with strong local knowledge and experience to ensure tailored support for regional clients.

“By building a strong local presence, we are bringing our global expertise closer to our traders,” said Paul Margarites, Exness Regional Commercial Director. “This office is more than a space; it’s a reflection of our long-term commitment to traders in the region.”

Economic expansion

Exness’ move into Cape Town comes as several international brokers are also expanding into South Africa to capture the growing retail trading market. The country remains Africa’s largest economy, with an estimated 2024 GDP of around $400 billion, and its comparatively higher per capita income continues to attract financial service providers.

Beyond Africa, Exness has also been strengthening its global presence. The company recently opened an office in Amman, Jordan’s capital, to extend its reach across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region—another key growth area for CFD brokers. Exness is also locally regulated in Jordan.

The new offices in South Africa and Jordan underscore Exness’ broader strategy to expand its physical presence in emerging markets worldwide.
