IC Market F1 Entry showcases the broker’s bold expansion strategy, enhancing global visibility through a high-profile motorsport partnership. MoneyGram Haas F1 Team unveiled a fresh commercial partnership last week, confirming online brokerage IC Markets as its new official Forex trading partner. The announcement came just before the final Formula 1 race of the season at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Under the new agreement, IC Markets’ branding will appear across key areas of the Haas car, including the nose, front wing, halo, and cockpit headrest sections. This collaboration becomes the most significant motorsport sponsorship undertaken by the Australia-based firm, which provides services to clients across more than 200 countries.
The launch also aligns with a broader brand refresh by IC Markets, which has updated its name to “IC” as the company plans deeper global expansion in 2026. Tony Philip, the Chief Marketing Officer, described Formula 1 as a strong match for the firm’s identity, built on efficiency and technical accuracy.
“Formula 1 is the perfect expression of precision, discipline, and performance under pressure, qualities that resonate deeply with IC and with the traders we serve around the world,” Philip said in a statement.
The partnership reflects a shift in IC Markets’ marketing approach, following its long-standing operations since 2007 providing retail access to forex, indices, commodities, and crypto trading.
“The UAE is shaping the future of global finance, making Abu Dhabi the perfect stage for this partnership,” Jason Hughes, General Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region, noted regarding the announcement’s venue.
The firm has recently enhanced client access to copy-trading capabilities by integrating a cTrader widget into its client area. It also revealed earlier plans to strengthen its international footprint through expansion into the UAE.
Financial sector interest in Formula 1 partnerships continues to rise as the sport widens its global presence. The championship has added events in Miami, Las Vegas, and Saudi Arabia in recent years, while viewership has climbed in major markets such as the US.
With this move, IC Markets enters a competitive space of trading platforms already visible across F1. Rivals like Vantage partnered with the Ferrari Formula 1 team, Scuderia Ferrari HP, earlier this year.
Around the same period, Libertex secured its own Formula 1 presence through its collaboration with the Kick Sauber F1 Team, while Public signed on as a partner of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team.
