Plus500 has announced its appointment as a clearing partner for the CME Group and FanDuel’s new event-based contracts platform.

Under the arrangement, Plus500 will provide brokerage execution and clearing services for FanDuel Prediction Markets, a non-clearing Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) formed as a joint venture between CME Group and FanDuel, the sports betting and entertainment company under Flutter Entertainment plc.

Moreover, this collaboration will allow Plus500 to leverage its institutional-grade infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable access for FanDuel Prediction Markets’ clients. By acting as the clearing partner, Plus500 will facilitate seamless trading and settlement of the platform’s innovative event-based contracts, a step seen as a significant evolution in retail and institutional engagement with alternative market products.
