Robinhood launches Legend in the UK, a free, customizable desktop trading platform built for active investors and advanced charting.
Robinhood (NASDAQ: HOOD), the US-based neobroker known for commission-free trading, has unveiled Robinhood Legend, its new browser-based trading platform tailored for active investors in the UK. The platform, which is free for all Robinhood account holders, offers powerful customisation tools and advanced trading features designed to compete with — and surpass — incumbent desktop platforms.
Also, described as “the new standard for modern trading in the UK” by Jordan Sinclair, President of Robinhood UK, Robinhood Legend is part of the company’s broader ambition to become the leading platform for active traders globally.
“Robinhood Legend gives UK investors the speed, precision, and customisation they need to stay ahead of the curve — with a platform that’s powerful, intuitive, beautifully designed, and free,” said Sinclair.
Robinhood’s internal research revealed that while many UK traders still rely heavily on mobile apps, a significant proportion also use desktop setups — yet few are satisfied. Moreover, only one-third of desktop traders reported satisfaction with their current platforms, citing limited customisation and poor navigation as major drawbacks.
Robinhood Legend addresses these frustrations with a modern interface built for flexibility and depth. So, Users can design their trading layouts or select from curated templates, linking widgets and syncing symbols across multiple monitors. Real-time data updates at sub-second speeds, and traders can work with chart intervals from daily all the way down to tick-level precision.
Notable features include:
Robinhood offers Legend at no extra cost, unlike many premium desktop platforms that charge monthly fees or require higher trade volumes. Customers can access it directly through a browser—no downloads needed—as the platform begins rolling out to all UK users today.
While Legend supports trading of US-listed equities and options, some features or products visible on the platform may not be available to UK users due to regional restrictions.
This launch marks another major milestone for Robinhood as it accelerates its international expansion. After entering the UK market with a mobile-first offering, the company is now betting that Robinhood Legend will set a new benchmark for what desktop trading platforms should deliver to modern, active investors.
