Looking for a way to trade major U.S. equity indexes with smaller position sizes? Webull is expanding its futures offering with CME Group’s E-nano S&P 500 and E-nano Nasdaq-100 futures, giving eligible retail customers another option for managing index exposure.
The new contracts are here to provide more granular position sizing than traditional futures products. CME Nano Futures are at one-tenth of the comparable CME Micro E-mini futures contracts, reducing the notional exposure associated with each contract. This can also translate into lower dollar margin requirements, depending on the applicable margin and account conditions.
For retail traders, the smaller contract size is particularly relevant when managing risk. Rather than having to take exposure in larger increments, traders can adjust positions more precisely and scale their exposure according to their account size and risk preferences.
“Our vision is to ensure Webull continues to evolve alongside the needs of individual investors and the many ways they engage with the markets,” said Anthony Denier, Group President and U.S. CEO of Webull. He added that CME Nano Futures expand the range of products available through the platform while strengthening its futures offering.
Tanmay Sheth, FCM Product Head – Futures and Prediction Markets at Webull, said the contracts provide customers with a more accessible way to participate in major equity index markets as retail futures participation grows.
Eligible customers will be able to trade the Nano Futures alongside Webull’s existing futures products, using the platform’s tools for monitoring markets and managing positions. Access requires an approved Webull futures account, with trading remaining subject to applicable margin, risk, account and jurisdictional requirements.
The launch is expected in mid-September 2026, adding another layer of flexibility to Webull’s futures offering. For traders who want index exposure without committing to the larger increments associated with Micro E-mini contracts, the smaller Nano contracts could provide a more precise way to structure and adjust positions.
