XTB MMA sponsorship strengthens the broker’s European brand presence by partnering with the region’s largest mixed martial arts federations. The firm has entered into a new partnership with OKTAGON MMA, strengthening its position as the largest mixed martial arts sponsor in Europe. The agreement follows the broker’s existing title sponsorship of Poland’s leading MMA organization, KSW, and further cements XTB’s growing presence in combat sports.

XTB MMA Sponsorship Extends to OKTAGON

The collaboration marks XTB’s most significant exposure in European MMA to date. For the first time since OKTAGON’s launch, a sponsor’s branding will feature on all fighters’ jerseys. In addition, XTB will benefit from prominent visibility during live events, broadcast coverage, and digital platforms across OKTAGON’s key markets, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany.

Commenting on the partnership, XTB CEO Omar Arnaout said the company aligns itself with organizations that consistently push boundaries and aim higher. He added that OKTAGON has demonstrated strong growth potential and could soon emerge as a major contender on the global MMA stage.

Brokers Increasing Investment in Combat Sports

XTB’s move reflects a broader trend among online brokers using combat sports to enhance brand recognition. In 2024, Pepperstone secured a sponsorship agreement with UFC Asia, while FXPro previously appointed MMA fighter Aleksandr Chizov as a brand ambassador. More recently, NAGA Group signed boxing icon Mike Tyson as the face of its brand.

OKTAGON reports strong dominance in its domestic markets and has set European attendance records, particularly with large-scale events in Germany. Looking ahead, the promotion is preparing for its most ambitious year yet in 2026, planning 18 events across several countries.

OKTAGON co-founder Pavol Neruda emphasized that the collaboration goes beyond simple branding, describing it as a strategic partnership between two organizations with shared values and ambition.

Strengthening a Long-Term Sports Marketing Strategy

XTB has steadily expanded its footprint in combat sports since signing UFC superstar Conor McGregor as a brand partner in September 2022. The broker later added former UFC champions Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Jiří Procházka to its ambassador lineup.

Beyond MMA, XTB’s sponsorship portfolio includes football legend Iker Casillas, who joined as a brand ambassador in early 2023, alongside previous collaborations with José Mourinho and current global ambassador Zlatan Ibrahimović. The company has also gained exposure through boxing, tennis, and Formula 1.

XTB MMA Sponsorship Breaks Records

XTB’s sponsorship-driven strategy appears to be delivering strong results. Recent figures from the Polish market show that four out of every five newly opened brokerage accounts were registered with XTB.

With its OKTAGON partnership now complementing its title sponsorship of KSW, XTB holds the largest combined MMA sponsorship presence in Europe.
